Malassezia folliculitis (MF) is a chronic infection of pilosebaceous follicles caused by spp. Clinical features MF may include perifollicular papules and itchy erythematous pustules. This study evaluating the profile patients in period 2018-2020 Mycology Division Dermatovenereology Outpatient Clinic Dr. Soetomo General Academic Hospital Surabaya. Retrospective descriptive aimed at including number cases, patient baseline data, history taking, physical examination, supporting examinations, therapy. Based on tabulation data obtained 154 new patients. The majority were aged 17-25, females, students. most clinical characteristics red nodules accompanied moderate itching, longest duration complaints <1 months, endogenous predisposing factors hyperhidrosis exogenous was humidity high temperature, localized status thoracalis posterior, dermatological papules, examinations carried out KOH 20% showed blastospores with predominance grade 4+, Woods lamp examination revealed bright green yellow color, dermoscope erythema. Most systemic therapies ketoconazole 2x200 mg topical shampoo 2%. There an increase diagnosis based anamnesis, then matched examinations.
